tech qualifications at rvfix
At RVFix, our technicians combine strong mechanical and diagnostic skills with a problem-solving mindset and attention to detail. Our team averages 20 years of experience per technician, with a combined experience of over 250 years.
With specializations in every aspect of RV systems, there are very few problems that our technicians cannot solve. But you don’t have to take our word for it. If you haven’t tried RVFix yet, take advantage of your free first call and see their expertise for yourself!
Why use the tech call?
We solve 40% of issues on the very first tech call. No parts, no shop, no wait.
For everything else, the call still saves you time! We narrow down the cause of your issue, order parts, and submit warranty before you ever drop off your RV, and route you to the right next step — whether that’s a mobile technician, partnered service center, or a guided self-install!
how does pricing work?
RVFix costs $99 for every video call you complete. You won’t be charged for asking questions about RVFix or for calls to your repair advisor if you’re in the repair process already.
Want to save even more? With an RVFix membership (only $39.99/month), you get access to unlimited video calls with certified RV technicians, waiving every $99 fee. You also save 10% on all parts and accessories, and $30/hr on labor at partnered service centers and with mobile technicians. Meaning you could save hundreds of dollars on your RV repairs.

Many issues cannot be handled over a video call because of the need for specialized tools that can only be found at an RV service center.
There are also some issues that, if you try to handle on your own, can void your warranty if something goes wrong. If, as a result of a tech call, we diagnose the problem and find out that it is one of those situations that can risk your warranty in order to perform the repair, we will often recommend that you bring it in to a service center.
Similarly, some issues are too dangerous to walk through over a tech call, like some electrical work and anything involving propane lines. For your own safety, we refuse to handle those repairs over a tech call. Your safety is a higher priority than a fast fix, so we will instead help coordinate your repair with a service center or mobile technician.
One of the biggest indicators of whether a repair can be performed over the tech call is if the caller has the right tools on hand. So many more issues could be diagnosed over the tech call if the RVer simply had a multimeter with them!

No, the $99 does not cover the repair itself, unless we’re able to fix your problem over the video call. If any parts need to be ordered, or if you end up needing a mobile technician or service center to perform the repair, there are additional charges based on the part and the hourly rate of your mobile tech or service center. But since you had your issue diagnosed or narrowed down during your video call, they spend less time diagnosing it, saving you money compared to a traditional repair experience.
